Druid Leveling Guide Reviews

Druids Druids are close with nature, and this may very well explain why they are only open to two particular races. From the Alliance, only Night Elves may choose to be Druid. On the Horde, the Druid class is restricted to Tauren. The Druid is an extremely versatile, hybrid class. Presenting a wide array of abilities and talents for the player to choose from, it's ideal for those that don't want to commit themselves to any one role. The three talent trees include Restoration, Balance and Feral. One of the most unique characteristics of the Druid class is their ability to shapeshift. This is where the multitude of possibilities in PvP or PvE settings comes in to play.

There are four notable forms that the Druid can take. Cat, which essentially mimics a rogue with it's stealth ability and energy bar. Bear, which can lend itself to extremely effective tanking with high survivability. Tree Form is the form the Druid takes when they are primarily Restoration, and in this form they are terrific healers who have two forms of resurrection at their fingertips and group favorite HoTs. The final form is Moonkin form, which essentially is equal to a spellcaster with the possibility for a higher AC than that of a Warlock or Mage.

The Druid class is unlikely to be boring, presenting you with the possibility of Tanking, Healing or respectable DPS (either melee or ranged). Druids can be very effective at soloing, though some Restoration Druids struggle with this. The Druid has to become familiar with Rage, Energy and Mana management. Druids can also choose to utilize several sets of gear to compliment their respective talent choices. Keeping several sets of armor opens the Druid to a high degree of flexibility. Whether they are within a Guild or prefer to PUG, the Druid can fill any roll the group needs. That's not to say that every Druid necessarily enjoys all the possibilities. It will depend on player style and preferences.

The Druid is only able to wear Leather Armor, but can equip several different kinds of weapons. These include: Staves, One and Two-handed Maces, Polearms Daggers, and Fist Weapons. What weapon the Druid decides to use will decide on the role they play most frequently, and it will obviously depend on player style and preference. Besides having multiple choices between armor and weapons, their forms offer other choices as well. They will take on a multitude of quests throughout the leveling process. They receive a quest for their Epic Flying Mount, they must first purchase Artisan Riding and then when they complete a quest which takes them through Setthek Halls - they will be rewarded with Swift Flight Form. Very early on in their leveling they will receive a quest for their Aquatic form which transforms them into a Walrus and makes swimming and breathing under water much easier.

world of warcraft druid tips
In PvP, Druids can be quite devastating if they take Moonkin form (high burst damage, and a more PvP oriented spec is referred to as Boomkin). As far as high survivability, Restoration Druids arguably fare the best out of any healer in the game in PvP. Restoration Druids are hard to take down with their arsenal of HoT's. When they take Tree of Life, it's worth noting that the Druid can be banished. To stop a foe in their tracks, a Druid can utilize their spell Entangling Roots. No matter which path a Druid chooses to take, the player will always be on their feet and the more they master the class - the more they will enjoy this diverse high demand class.

Welcome to our Druid guide reviews. Regardless if you plan to be Feral, Resto, or a balanced Druid these guides will help you reach 85 in the shortest amount of time possible. Some guides are also geared specifically at Druids and thus provide more details for certain Druid-oriented details. They are ranked based primarily on speed and level of details (maps, quests, videos etc).

  • Overall:8/10

  • The Ultimiate Gold Guide is as fast as can be I guess. It teaches you how to make more gold pretty fast... so what's not to like?
  • Maps:8/10
  • Well, the guide provides great detail on where to farm several money making items.
